How to delete Instagram account

To delete your Instagram account, go to the Delete Your Account page in a browser, choose a reason, re-enter your password, and click Delete. Instagram permanently deletes your account and data after 30 days. To temporarily disable it instead, log in on a browser, click Edit Profile, scroll down, and click Temporarily Disable Account. To save your photos and data before deleting, go to Settings > Accounts Center > Your information and permissions > Download your information. You cannot delete your account from the mobile app; you must use a browser.
