How to use Nearby Share on Android

Make sure both Android devices have Bluetooth and location services on. Open the file or content you want to share and tap the share icon. Select "Nearby Share." Your phone will search for nearby devices. Tap the recipient's device name. The recipient will see a prompt to accept. Nearby Share works between Android devices and Chromebooks. You can adjust visibility in Settings > Google > Devices & sharing > Nearby Share to control who can see your device.
